This stainless steel doorstop works wonders in our home! Based on our own experience, this product keeps doors open or closed as needed. The rubber base provides good grip on any flooring surface. Great for preventing slamming doors and keeping children and pets safe in the home. Only one minor con, it's a bit heavier than other doorstops we've tried. Overall, we highly recommend this durable and functional doorstop!

Used this in place of other Amazon doorstops because they try to give the illusion that it's big, chunky and heavy. Received the item, it's tiny, my door isn't an unusual size at all, yet it's not tall enough to reliably do its job. Even if he touches the door, it won't stop him from sliding. I hate the amount of stuff on Amazon that tries to scam very small items that don't do the job.

Firstly I would like to point out that the doorstop I received was not printed with the brand name so I don't know if it is fake or they have changed their design. Most importantly, it just doesn't work on the hardwood floor + self-closing door in my apartment. I bought this because the door is always trying to close and is quite heavy, and I've seen several reviews mentioning that it works for their heavy self-closing doors.
