IDesign Standing Storage Kitchen Countertop Review

This was the perfect size to add extra storage to my kitchen cabinets. I no longer had to store bowls on top of cups!

Perfect. I actually wanted this to fit my cable/DVR box in my TV stand. Sitting on a shelf he let me see all the cables and stuff behind him. I put it on this stand and it has better airflow, also I put 4 DVDs under it. So now you don't see any wires. And this color harmonises perfectly with the dark wood of my TV cabinet.

Our kitchen sink is in a corner with windows on either side of the corner. This gives me a triangular space behind the sink that receives good light. I put it in there and planted a fairly large aloe vera plant on top. Perfect. It feels pretty strong and durable, and has much slimmer lines than most wire shelving. This is a great design and solid construction but the measurements are wrong. They're not 10 inches wide, they're 12.5 inches wide. Most other companies list these items in width, length, and depth order. In the description of this product, the dimensions are given as 10 x 12.5 x 5.7. So they should be 10" wide and 12.5" deep based on how others are listed. I tried to contact the seller before purchasing to clarify this but to no avail and Revane had no idea what the real deal was. So now I…

This design, and I have two of these different brands, requires a rubber strip on the underside of the levers that rest on the shelf above. I wanted to use this with clothing. The skinny armrests on top don't hold any hard cargo for me (like tin cans in the pantry or drawers full of stuff). So when I go to pull the folded clothes out of the basket, the clothes effortlessly pull the whole basket with them. Knocks the functionality out the window entirely.
