Purchased 2. Both bays are hot-pluggable. Exactly what I needed. I found I had my third tray open after getting rid of my old Blu-ray, so I bought a third. I gave 4/5 for the materials only because the plastic is pretty brittle. But it's good enough to use. Just don't drop your server case or anything like that. The only improvement I've seen is the placement of the internal 2.5-inch SSD bay on the back to make a little more use of the space.

This is such a beautiful accessory for your computer, you will love it. The quality of the drive adapter is very good. I've had other drive enclosures like this one, but the drives had to be secured in a tray and could then be inserted into the enclosure. The coolest thing about this item is that you can just mount it in your computer bay and then slide drives in and out from the front without fiddling with the hardware. I was pleasantly surprised with this item and am glad I bought it.

I am currently using three of these as part of a raid5 array. For what you pay this is a fantastic product. Installation was easy. A matching set looks pretty chic too. However, there are several disadvantages. They vibrate a bit when you're lazy and secure them with just a few screws. LEDs can be too bright in the dark, but black tape can fix that. I have 4 custom computers. During the build process I came to the conclusion that the software on the CD was running out. So the DVD/CD-ROM bays are pretty much useless as you can go to the manufacturer's website and download what you need.
