no snake oil at all.

If your machine is garbage, it will always be garbage. this thing won't work miracles. But on a clean linear rig, this thing noticeably reduces noise levels and eliminates a ton of graininess in literally everything from music to the Discord people's terrible mics. I have a fairly high end setup and this little $50 USB filter has made a big and noticeable difference that many people end up paying thousands of dollars for in the form of an overpriced DAC. High Frequency Solution

When recording audio with a USB microphone (Shure MV7 or Blue Yeti in my case) or via a 3.5mm jack, my computer adds a high frequency sound. Also worth noting is that there is never a dull moment on my MacBook with any of the above, only on my PC desktop. This dongle eliminated that whistling when recording with a USB mic. The key wobbles a bit when inserted, otherwise it's perfect. In my case it's worth the money as the computer and microphone are expensive and that was the last thing standing

The iFi iSilencer+ is worth the price and really works.

Where to start? This little device is amazing. Improves the sound of my Creative Sound Blaster X7 with Muses 01 and OPA 604 op amps. Mids are thicker, bass is stronger, highs are muffled. Improved sound stage, clearer sound separation. My very sharp, treble-heavy Beyerdynamic T90 is tamed by this small USB device. High frequencies are much more comfortable to hear at higher volumes. I did a test on YouTube with PS4 Pro and PC. How was it you ask? PS4 Pro connects to Sound Blaster X7 via TOSLINK
