I find it very valuable

I find it very valuable. I like the LCD screen and the ability to choose between different measurements. I'm taking off a star because it's difficult to set up. It lacks the dial that this company's digital calipers have (which is great). Also the quality of the steering wheel seems to be low, but I'm not 100% sure yet. It doesn't leave a big line, but it's good enough for me. The rest of the materials seem to be of good quality. Feels good in hand. If mine was lost or stolen I would buy…

Pros
  • Hardened alloy precision marking wheel
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I decided to try the digital model and it completely improved the accuracy of my woodworking measurements. I've found several different ways to use it and each one is a game changer. I no longer need countless attempts to glue plywood boxes together. The only complaint is that the cutting blade isn't sharp enough to leave a noticeable mark on hardwood. That minor issue aside, this tool is…

WHY? WHY NOT! Great deal for the money.

The sensor is heavy and appears to be of good quality. It seems very accurate (to within half a thousand, it matches my other precision instruments). If you want to draw a line EXACTLY 0.25 inch from the edge, this tool is for you. It's a little tricky to adjust the setting (not a micro-adjustment like the Glen-Drake TiteMark), but I found that tapping the end of the sensor with my finger allowed me to move it into thousandths fairly reliably since it's essentially a tool trades wood for…

Pros
  • IP54 water and dust resistant
Cons
  • Something else
