Igloo Proformance 1 Quart Water Jug: The Ultimate Hydration Companion Review

Bought these as a gift for my son's baseball coaches and they were a hit! My son has one in a different color and loves it. We use it at all his sporting events to keep him hydrated. It's not very heavy and holds the perfect amount of water. I LOVE the hooks that pop out so you can hang the bottle on the fence in the hole!

On arrival I noticed the rubber seal in the lid was not flush. I've tried pushing it back but it doesn't go straight. Always sticks out about an inch. This will cause leakage when the lid is closed. Can I send a new rubber seal? After 1 month. Never got a reply from the company. This bottle cannot be used as the rubber seal causes it to leak onto my kids while drinking.

I was concerned that it would not be durable and stay cold. My kids aren't the gentlest, and we have long baseball games in 90-degree weather in the summer. This thing has been heavily abused and is in great condition. It's just the right size in relation to the amount of water it holds. Our other 20-ounce bottles always needed to be refilled during gameplay, but not this one. It comes with a center refreezer that unscrews. I didn't use that because it's another thing to clean up but no problem

My 7 year old has been using the same larger water bottle for a little over a year. The threads were frayed from constant use and kept leaking, so we decided to order a new one. I didn't pay attention to the size but this is the smaller version and it works even better for him as he rarely drank his whole other and hated how heavy it was when full. Highly recommended for younger children.

Looks good but works horribly which is a shame I really wanted to like this little jug. I started with ice water and less than an hour outside in mid 80's summer weather the ice was gone and the water wasn't even cold. cool at best. The cover is ordinary plastic, no insulation - this is probably the main design flaw. But drinking from it is easy, which is nice. I would not buy this pot again and cannot recommend it.

Like others, some have found that their lids do not fit properly. There is a notch that prevents the lid from rotating any further so the spout is centered as shown in the photos. Ours requires you to turn the notch until the spout is just above the handle. Otherwise, it leaks quite a bit because it's not fully sealed. There is a gasket in the lid, probably not the right thickness. Still pretty lame.
