Works great, incredibly cheap

Lost a set of truck keys and key fob while camping. They look the same as OEM. Lowe cuts the key for free and FOB is easy to program. I bought 2 packs because it was so little money. So now I have a third spare set in case something happens to my wife's or my wife's keys. Wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I hope that in the near future I won't lose a few key phrases where I need them.

The key itself was too long for my 05 Equinox

I bought these to get a replacement key for my current Equinox and also to replace my remotes. The remote controls were programmed by a locksmith without any problems. However, the keys were too long for the Equinox. Luckily I really only needed one key so I had the locksmith keep the 2 keys I got here and they made me another the right size at no extra cost. Overall the remotes worked great with my Chevy Equinox 05, the keys didn't fit, they were too long.

I'm still looking for a locksmith who can program key fobs.

I received them on time. I immediately noticed that the package did NOT come with any instructions as advertised. Instead, I received a business card with a website. I had to go to the year and model I was trying to program and found that they had to be programmed by a locksmith. This is in contrast to the advertisement for the item, which stated that the wearer could easily program them. So. at the moment. they sit until I find a reasonably priced locksmith to do the programming.

So it will work after all.

So the key fob itself is very easy to program and works like gangster. Button. I cut it at your local big store and they seem to make fun of how cheap it is. They said if that doesn't work, come and get one of ours. So low, and here you have to find the "golden mean” to make it spin. I've used it so many times I almost passed out without even thinking about it, but it's really annoying at first. BUT, I was so upset I cut out a big box for myself and it was WORSE. So I quickly took it back…

Not bad though. - Anti-theft device

I couldn't find a website on how to program my remote controls. I had to use a different site. And I could only program one remote at a time. Luckily, the ignition key also unlocks the door, so I wasn't completely lost if I had to use a second key and remote. Overall, I'm still happy with the UPDATE purchase. I wanted to cut the keys with my original and the key doesn't fit. So the buttons don't work and when programming I can't program both remotes at the same time. I program alone. Put it…

Pros
  • Keyless entry systems
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Only works with interior

I wasn't expecting much from these key fobs as I have had similar cheap key fobs for other cars in the past and they didn't sell very widely. that does not work. But these faulty key fobs were built into the key itself (see Dodge key fobs). They probably failed because they were key and the low budget plastic just twisted. However, these are only keychains, and the key is separate. My budget key blanks worked perfectly (this is for a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 that doesn't use remote control
