Eliminate Misfires & Blown Ignition Coilds and vehicles suffer from frequently failing ignition coils. Often this is a result of a poor electrical connection between the car's wire harness and the ignition coil. By replacing the factory ignition coil connector, you will provide a clean and secure connection to your ignition coils. Complete Repair Kit - This ignition coil (coil pack) repair connector kits includes everything you need to repair and replace your damaged electrical connectors. Each kit includes 4 replacement connectors with wire leads, 16 heat shrink crimp connectors, & step by step installation instructions. High Quality & OEM Grade - Each component included in the kit was designed to meet or exceed the factory specifications. The included crimp connectors form a weatherproof seal keeping moisture and contaminates out. The ignition coil itself is sourced from the factory's own supplier, while the connected wire leads feature a higher temperature rating than the factory wires. This will insure the wire insulation lasts for years. This part is NOT a genuine OEM part. Good quality and a perfect fit.

Original quality spare part. Definitely better than spending hundreds at the dealer for pretty much the same parts. Very easy to assemble and fits perfectly. Will be used again if future Volkswagen fixes are needed.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Angry

Excellent replacement in Parts

Great value for money! OEMs tend to crack over time due to heat. This is the perfect replacement. Make sure you match the original colors in order from old to new as the colors will not match.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

The wire color is wrong but the connector is correct for VW cc 2.0t

The ignition coil assembly is correct but the wiring is wrong so I just installed a new one in the connector. Later, the old one above in the correct orientation, passed the wires one by one to avoid mismatching the wires since they are not the same color.

  • glitter

Perfect for replacing broken clips!

This is exactly what I needed, I just bought a used car with over 60,000 miles that had a misfire in one of the cylinders. I noticed that some of the clips on the ignition coils are broken. They were perfect as I can replace all the ignition plugs with new ones! A must if you have a high mileage car!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • boring packaging

Better than paying $400

My son's VW Jetta had damaged spark plug wires that cost $100 each ($400 total for all 4). I decided to try them as they weren't expensive. It took us about an hour to swap out all 4. The swap was painful, but coughing up $400 for genuine parts was even more painful. The car is running smoothly and he is a very happy driver now. hope they hold up.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Communication with seller

They work well.: Ignition parts

They work well. You need to make sure you have enough space as connectors take up a lot of space. Also, in most cases you will need a smaller diameter for one or more wires. If you want to protect the wires from the elements, it's a good idea to use a heat gun. Also take heat-resistant tape. Also disconnect the battery, otherwise you may short out the fuse when cutting the wires.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great item for the price

Relatively easy for a novice amateur mechanic. Fits perfectly on my 2004 VW Passat 1.8t if you recommend having heat resistant tape handy as the crimp connectors are cumbersome when not taped together. I only had one broken coil connector (very dry rotted - shattered into pieces in my hand checking for misfires) but now I have three spares for a great price in case any of the other connectors break!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Solved my misfire problem!

If you are a bit mechanically inclined and find that the wiring harness problem is on the connector side due to turbo heating, this is your best bet. After tearing up the coil wiring I found this to be the case and found this to be a great solution as opposed to replacing the entire wiring harness. Came out clean and got rid of my misfires right away! The installation took me about an hour. Some of the clips that came with the kit didn't close completely, so I improvised and just used good…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Negative available
