🔥 Ignition Coil Replacements 10489421 and D577 - Compatible with Chevy, GMC, Cadillac & Other GM Vehicles (V6/V8) Review

Replaced the original spool with a 2003 Astro 4.3. This role was a perfect fit and the van ignited without hesitation! The original is riveted to two staples. Do yourself a favor and grab (2) #8 × 1-1/4 machine screws, nuts, and lockwashers. You will wear out the rivets and you will have to put it back together.

Worked fine for my 2003 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3L Vortec. However, there are two problems. The connector did not engage (fixed). I had to cut off the protrusion on the coil and cut off the clip on the connector. Also, no mounting hardware was included. The factory bracket holes match up well. If it has never been replaced you will need to drill out the rivets and install this new spool with a lock nut and bolt. In general it worked fine.
