Disappointing Anti-Theft Accessory

Automotive security is crucial but don't waste your money on this product. After I put it to the test, the key fob failed to lock/unlock the doors and the alarm was easily bypassed. The product is unreliable and leaves your car vulnerable to theft.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Ineffective, unreliable

I wanted to share this, maybe it will help you. ** GM only wanted $75 for the remote and $120 for the programming. Local locksmith $125 for both **First: I need a programmer for my car (Traverse 2015), newer GM cars don't have the ability to program the remotes from the info panel. I took a chance and bought a Dorman 99161 with a key. Keychain ($50). Connect it to the ODB2 port and…
