I have 2008 Seadoo GTX 215 Supercharge skis. Plug number 1 in two hours of use got me dirty twice. I decided to replace the coil (it's very easy to do). The Seadoo dealer wanted double what I paid for these three units. I swapped out all three coils and the difference was amazing. Instant start, much better low level and power reduction. Inexpensive upgrade!

Looks like OEM but that's the only similarity. I bought coils for the Sea Doo GTX but unfortunately they are of very poor quality and don't hold the spark plug. I've tried wiping all the grease off, cleaning them etc and unfortunately they don't even come close to meeting OEM specs. If you're cruising on a smooth lake you might be fine with them, but if you're cruising on rough water the coil keeps popping off the spark plugs.

Seems like a good idea to change my coils while tuning my 2003 Sea Doo GTX 4-stroke engine. I bought them and put them together with new candles. After 30 minutes of my test ride, my engine went into "limp home mode” and back to the ramp 5 more times on the 6 mile ride. I took it to the dealer this morning and when the mechanic pulled those coils out they broke and fell apart. All three were garbage. The lower part is inserted into the hole on the spark plug.
