Perfect for hobbyists or technicians on the go.

This little vise is fantastic for my watchmaker house! I attach it directly to a 3/4 piece of plywood that I cut out to fit the stand I use as a portable workbench. There is only one disadvantage. Jaws MAKE your workpiece. I get around this by lining the jaws with rubberized tape when I need to protect them from scratches. Works great! I wish it had a small flat anvil on the back of the movable jaw, but that doesn't interfere in any way. I will soon buy a second one and maybe a third one as a…

NOT SUITABLE FOR ANY JOB

This is one of the unresolvable problems with Revain: You can't clearly see, touch or visualize what you're buying, and Revain is just a reseller, so they don't review it for They, they just want to sell. This is by far the worst quality vise I have ever bought. I'm a hobbyist so I've bought quite a few in my life. This is manufactured to unacceptable, despicable standards, the lower jaws do not match or are even flat: there is a mold line running down the center of the jaw surface making…

It's a little weird opening something that should be big boy/girl size in your mind. It looks and feels like it belongs on a small desktop. I really thought it was plastic. I've tapped it and it's die-cast metal, thin but still metallic. No plastic. I couldn't get over how easy it was so I decided to use my new gram scale. Total Weight = 150.5 grams = 5.3 0z (less than 1/3 lb). Jaws only need 1 3/8. "width, not 1 1/2" or unscrew the back of the vise. I'm going to attach one of those furniture…
