🐶 IIT 99914 20-foot Dog Tie-Out Cable Review

This has a nice thick cover on top. Pretty strong product. I've started giving the product a five star rating. The last few weeks have been a bit damp and muggy with lots of thunderstorms. I see a slight accumulation of rust on the metal clips at the end of the cable. As this product is intended for outdoor use, the clips must be rust resistant. I will monitor this over the next few weeks and update my review.

We have been using this leash for a few months now. Unfortunately we have to tie our dog up when he is in our backyard as he climbs fences and we live on a busy road. For her safety, I need something that she can't break but still allows her to play and run. This cable has held up well to their abuse and hasn't tangled as badly or easily as other wires we've used in the past. It was definitely worth the price and we really like it so far.

I'm glad I found this product at such a great price (this cable would have been $20 at the pet store). I bought two for my dogs, one is a puppy but has no problem pulling the rope when walking. The hooks look cheap at first but are definitely reliable and I'm sure they won't break. I attached both cables to the same hook in the ground, but if your dogs are larger they may need their own stake in the ground. The cable has plenty of room to run and my dogs love the freedom.

Love the extra long length, 20ft perfect when we want to keep our lab away from non dog friendly guests but still give it plenty of lawn to run and play with the dog. Bought two of these. They arrived quickly. The product photo is a bit colorless. In the picture the item looks like it has a red vinyl sleeve but the items I have received are orange but I'm not complaining, orange is much brighter and more visible in the garden than red but I thought so just, I mention it in case anyone gets really upset about something, that it's covered in red vinyl. Very little packaging with this tie and works perfectly. A 60-pound cord or less weighs the same as our previous 50-pound cord or less, allowing our dog to roam the streets comfortably without much effort looking for a favorite spot and holding on to the fluff.
