Ceramic on one side only

This connector has ceramic on one side only and the other side is plastic, but from the picture it looks like it is ceramic on both ends. This is false marketing. And the quality of the wires doesn't look very good either. But I give it 3 stars because it helped me install my expensive LED lights in my car. Without them, my flashlights were useless.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Faulty ceramic protector

I've been using these ceramic connectors for 100 watt bulbs for quite some time, but now I'm seeing ceramic flaws and melting in the fixture. So you need to buy new headlights and cables. Did you think ceramics should protect cables and lightbulbs? And yes, I definitely used the little packet of thermal paste that came with the bulbs.

  • GOLS certified

Good but not essential except for high temperature applications/locations

The most important thing in any connection is a good connection with maximum contact area and no corrosion. i recommend covering the contact surface with some nolox or eq and using silicone grease or sealing spray, this ensures a waterproof seal and good conductivity at the joint. Teflon wire brazed with silver solder is used at extremely high temperatures, but this is only used in a few true high temperature applications (nuclear weapons, furnaces, boilers, etc.).

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some errors

bad contact = high heat

I've had them on my truck (2010 international, semi-automatic) for over half a year finally stopped changing bulbs. I have 9006 bulbs and original cartridges keep melting. I was skeptical at first because the problem is in the contact, bad contact = high heat, ceramic alone won't solve the contact problem, but they seem to have better contacts as I still don't see any discoloration on the metal. One downside I found is that the fit is very tight, it sits in the groove of the cartridge, it's…

YES, it fits a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer in perfect condition

Although Revain says it doesn't fit my car I knew it would and ordered it anyway. I was right, they fit perfectly. High quality ceramic plugs help manage the heat caused by faulty GM headlight switches in Trailblazers and Envoys melting the plugs. Be sure to use dielectric grease on the connectors. They fit perfectly in the headlight socket. Dielectric grease protects against moisture, prevents corrosion and ensures a good connection. This is a patch, not a repair, keeping you from replacing…

Pros
  • Permanent test results

  • Communication with seller
