Definitely brighter and whiter. I had to check the box in iDrive to enable them. I fell in my body. Maybe it was my mistake during installation. At least in the halogen lamp housing this could be done by looking into the top lamp access hole under the hood.

Worked for 6 months and then one died, tested it on a different socket (changed bulbs) and confirmed it was defective. I contacted the seller and he stated that there was only a 90 day guarantee i.e. H. Don't expect them to last much longer than 3 months, anything overtime is borrowed.

Very easy to install, can't comment on durability as I've only had it a few weeks. You look great on the car. There is no flicker after launch. They flash for a few seconds on startup, but this is my computer to make sure they don't get blown up. They flash back and forth like a strobe light and it doesn't really bother me. They don't shed any light on my dashboard and I haven't even coded them yet.

My first pair lasted about a year until a bulb slowly blew out and had to be replaced. When converting from halogen to LED, be sure to code your car with a BimmerCode to avoid flickering. Also, when changing a lightbulb, do not touch the lightbulb. Just hold it by the base. This will prevent hand oil from getting on the bulb causing it to burn out much faster.

This is not the third kit I have fitted to my car in 10 months. They look good when they work, but tend to fade quickly. This new set is the last set I will buy. At 2-3 months a piece I thought they were a decent buy for the price. they are garbage. That last set lasted less than 2 weeks before blowing out and throwing error codes.
