Ok I received this LED strip today and was more than happy with it. First, it's not like the light bar dazzles your eyes, but it does illuminate what's there pretty well. Installation is easy, the 3m tape on the back was useless to me, I used zip ties instead. to power up the step and it works fine. The sad thing is I was really really that thing brighter now. Maybe I'll install a light bar and do some crazy cuts.

Don't expect this light strip to improve your night vision. It's an accent light at its best and if that's what you're looking for then this is a good product. It makes my 2014 Tundra stand out and has a low enough draw to easily plug into an existing lighting system. I simply used a 3M pad and glued it directly to the mesh, I have no doubt it will stay. You can buy LED strips anywhere for less than these crooks are selling them. Installation is not as easy as they say. I tied the thing to a small trellis. If you tie him to poles, they will show you that he only flops at the ends. Looks very bad. As for brightness on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being brightest I'll give it a MINUS 10. They are almost invisible day and night. You can see them but they aren't very bright. Someone is cashing in on that 4 foot strip kit you can buy elsewhere.

Warning - tricky installation, requires major modifications as other reviewers wrote and gave it a star, it's a sluggish strip, nothing to attach it to, I had to use a U-shape insert Chalk/glue, then attach a strong U-bolt lengthwise and position it more like a C, facing out, with screws on the ends. Although it works and looks good! The same strip isn't $40, you can get it anywhere for $10. This is nothing but a regular strip, I hope the quality is worth the money, time will tell I will update

The tundra is advertised. If it's actually for the tundra, be aware that the power cord is a few feet shorter. I routed mine through the hood using the shortest route to the battery and still had to hook up my own cable. I can only imagine trying to save a few bucks on production is a pain for the consumer. Excellent light option/addition to the tundra! I installed it on my 2018 1794 Tundra. You can often find lighting options for hundreds of dollars on the secondary market. But at $40 it's a bargain and it makes the tundra look amazing! It literally took me 30-40 minutes to install. The bulge on the hood is removed in a matter of minutes (3 screws and a few powerful pulls).
