More convenient than OXO?

The shaped pen is very comfortable in my hand. The soft OXO vegetable peeler with a large handle is not so comfortable to hold. Not as versatile as a mandolin, but much better for shaving veggies than prepping for julienne.

Good vegetable peeler on peeler

I used it for the first time yesterday. I like the feel of my hand. It was very comfortable and well cleaned. It seems much stronger than the ones I've been using lately which keep breaking. They just don't make them like they used to!

Best ever peeler for kitchen utensils and gadgets

I have struggled with potato peelers for years and have never been able to find one that works well for me. Being left-handed didn't help. This is by far the best potato peeler I have ever used. Since I was 68 I have used and thrown away many of these.

Great product! for graters, peelers and slicers

This is the best peeler I have ever had. It's easy to use, peels and straightens quickly, and is safer than any cleanser I've ever used. I like the tip that removes bad stains easily. Easy to clean. Overall I would give this product 10 stars! I will be buying one for each of my children and grandchildren next Christmas.

IKEA. It is so good.

Definitely the best knife we've ever used. We are simple people, we have a big family. It pisses me off to live in the richest country in the world and still not be able to buy simple, efficient, and quality household items. Sure, you can pay $50 for one, but it's just prettier, not more efficient. Sign in to Ikea. Your stuff is reliable, efficient and very affordable when you buy it from Ikea. Over 50 years of experience say BUY THIS peeler! You will not be disappointed.

I'm a male in his 50s so I've been peeling a lot of potatoes for the last half century (wow!). This is the BEST potato peeler you will find! It's strong, sharp and perfectly ergonomic (we Scandinavians think so :-). For me there is no longer a cheap 99 cent peeler. This baby can easily peel a pumpkin and perfectly remove the skin from raw beets.
