IKEA FBA_5081953068922 Side Table White Review

I am very happy with this side table and will be buying another one soon. It was easy to assemble and perfect for a small table. I use it in my bird room for my tame pairs of finches and they love jumping on it when they leave their cage. It was intended for an incubator and was initially used as such, but as they grew up their incubator became a flight cage. :)

Bought to glue lego base plates on top to create a small lego table for my daughter. We chose this size because the Lego base plates are 10" squares so we could fit 4 on top without cutting them. And there was only about 1/2 inch left on the side. The table is of good quality, very light and also very easy to assemble, just screw the legs to the table top.

I love this look! However, they are sold at IKEA for about $8. I don't understand why on earth they cost $22 each. Upon delivery, an unnecessarily large box containing two items was opened, but the contents were fine. These are genuine Ikea products. I love this style so much I bought them anyway. There's only one IKEA in North Carolina, and it's a couple of hours' drive away. Shipping from there to me via Ikea would cost me over $100! Ridiculous. I have a small hole at the top also because the hollow core with pressed wood sides covered with beautiful white Veneer covered looks like it would hurt easily. I decided to go and close the hole. Overall I'm happy with this table although I had trouble assembling the four legs of the table. This is a good table for my child to use as a desk (for space-saving kindergarten work) and to play with toys. But it is very light and small, so in terms of durability and weight limitations, it will not be used for many years. I won't fret if it ends up in the recycling heap because it's so cheap!
