These are great thermometers for your aquarium. They are cheap and fairly reliable. Buy at least 2 because every now and then you go crazy and either the display shows dead pixels or it shows the wrong temperature. Usually due to mishandling or water damage to the display.

I have not compared them to a calibrated thermometer but all 4 read within 0.1F and installed alongside half a dozen other digital thermometers they read the same. I'd say that's enough to call them correct. Incredibly cheap, but works great!

Accurate and efficient to 0.1 grade 1 quit my job after 3 months. Displayed much higher than actual temperature. I accidentally loaded another one so it no longer works. The latter refused after 3-4 months. I go back to the floating thermometer.

At first they seemed only a degree or two apart, but in a relatively short time they collapsed. I bought these to monitor my daily tank temp for safety and thought my heater was badly faulty when I saw readings over 100 degrees. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Edit: One thermometer now reads 100, another reads over 140.

These are great little thermostats but don't wet the bass of the main unit which reads the temperature as it will never read correctly again, it won't dry out and it will never work i use mine to make sure the tank water temp and the temp of the water i add is perfect. They're accurate, they're quick and easy to use, don't bother getting wet

I thought I liked them but now after 8 weeks of use I see my tank reading 91 degrees. I can't get some to work now. I then ordered 6. That means I have to buy batteries and hope this solves the problem. If I don't get sick, more $$. Two are still working. Both were in the same tank. Do you see the temperature difference?

Bought these thermometers for my various aquariums. I should have tested them right away but I had other things to do so I left them in the package for a while, my fault. I bought 4 packs and out of 4 none show the same temperature as the others. The scary thing is that one was about 10 degrees lower. Good thing I didn't use it in a live tank, I would have turned on the heater thinking the water temp was too low. At least I would have fresh fish for dinner ;) The other 3 were a few degrees…
