ILive Boombox Bluetooth Speaker Player Review

I love that it has Bluetooth so I can listen to whatever I want on my phone! I use it in my home office and have found that the volume doesn't get very low for a small room. When I need very little, I have to use Bluetooth and control it from my phone.

There is no way to adjust the volume. There's a button to press, but there's no way to lower it to a very low level if you want to listen to relaxing music while you sleep. Bluetooth does not work. After connecting my phone to it and trying to listen to music from Pandora, I hear a noise instead of music.

No volume control! There's no volume knob to turn, instead there's a button to press. I bought this for my 10 year old and it's either very loud or off! No soft music if she wants to listen to it before bed. The volume is terrible. We returned it and bought Best Buy's Memorex for $40 with great sound and volume control.

This is a cute little radio and CD player. I love that it connects to my phone via bluetooth. I don't like that it's difficult to keep track of discs - it shows the titles as you read, not the minutes and seconds. When I have to stop listening to a CD book, I can guess where to start on a track. Some boods have 20 minute tracks making them cumbersome. Otherwise I like this little machine.

Despite good performance, one issue I encountered outweighed any potential benefits. The radio volume on the lowest setting is still too loud. It didn't work great on the bluetooth connection, but when setting up the radio, which takes me half the time. I covered it with a towel but it didn't help. I had to put it in the pantry which was then too annoying. I called Amazon and they said it was a common complaint. I sent it back annoyed because this is what I needed for my apartment!

I love this boombox. The sound is great, it's small and portable. I basically wanted this when the power went out so I could listen to music to fall asleep to. Very nice that I could use and plug in both batteries. Two things I don't care about: there's no antenna so you have to physically move everything until you get a signal, and I don't like the volume control because it's not a dial you're adjusting.
