Boomboxes have no volume control
No volume control! There's no volume knob to turn, instead there's a button to press. I bought this for my 10 year old and it's either very loud or off! No soft music if she wants to listen to it before bed. The volume is terrible. We returned it and bought Best Buy's Memorex for $40 with great sound and volume control.
