I can't extend the tips without activating the stun gun so I've been practically unable to clean them since the wax got on the candle tips is.

Rechargeable so replaces most of the regular lighters I have around the house. I mainly use lighters to light candles. Seems more environmentally friendly not having to constantly buy plastic lighters and throw them away when they run out. I love the way this one looks elegant.

Not very convenient for smoking. Goes out after 7 seconds so it's a bit annoying when trying to evenly light the cigarette (the plasma part is only half the size of the cigarette so you can't just stick the whole end in and light, you have to twist the Cigarette to light thing up evenly.) Excellent for candles and kindling

I am very satisfied with this product, it is elegant and discreet. Charges very quickly and lights candles with ease. I used to use old style candlelighters but they were unreliable and ran out of fuel when you needed them. This saves a lot of hassle and has a great built in safety feature to keep kids from setting things on fire. I am happy with this purchase!

Very glad I stumbled across this. I had no idea such a thing existed. Great that it has a safety button and is easy to use. Works great and turns itself off after 17 seconds. Works great for lighting candles or starting a fire in a fireplace. I love the beautiful rose gold color. Being able to charge it with a phone charger is amazing. I love this lighter and that it comes in a nice gift box.

Update: A month after I brought it it broke and won't light. It's now fully charged and when I slide it to turn on the device it doesn't work on the first try. I have to repeat the movement over and over and eventually it lights up. I'm surprised there are so many positive reviews for this product, not sure if they're paid for. Also the "safety feature" in this joke. You can still turn it on without holding down the button. Not recommended if you have a child.

I bought this candle lighter to make lighting candles safer and also to remember to buy matches. Overall this is a good buy. It lights candles very well and I get a very nice even fire. The rose gold looks great wearing it on my bedside table and the battery lasts a very long time considering I don't use it very often (I've had it for maybe a year now and I've only charged it twice). . . Honestly the only "downside" is that the part that lights the candles is plastic so I was a bit concerned…
