They may work better if you set the devices they connect to to .

I used these to connect to the PoE injector. The length isn't exactly 6 inches on each, so the ones that are slightly off - 5.75 to 6.25 - will result in not lying flat and putting pressure on the shorter cables, so I'm concerned that the shorter cable could break out over time. They might work better if you stack the devices they connect to on top of each other so they're curved loops, but I wanted them to be as cool as possible and the switch they sit on to stay fairly warm.

Ideal for connecting smart devices to my router

I use it to connect my Airport Express router to a Philips Hue hub. There's no reason to take anything longer as they're right next to each other and I hate having cables everywhere. Their coating is qualitatively quite thick, but bends if necessary. It also bangs. The only problem, and it's very minor, is that 2 of the 5 wires seem a bit difficult to separate. The plastic latch is offset from the rubber button so far that you have to push really hard to disconnect the cable. It doesn't matter…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Only available in white

Works perfectly. There is room to grow.

UPDATE 12/21/14: Everything still works fine, although I don't change most of them too often. I've moved to a place where I need to use an ISP modem and it seems like the LAN cables don't make all that much of a difference anymore. It must have been the characteristics of the modem I was using when I first bought these cables. They're still a bit stiff and shaped no matter how you tuck them in and dangle them, but they're still worth the money. --------------------------------------------------

Pros
  • Cat 6 cable
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
