I use it to connect my Airport Express router to a Philips Hue hub. There's no reason to take anything longer as they're right next to each other and I hate having cables everywhere. Their coating is qualitatively quite thick, but bends if necessary. It also bangs. The only problem, and it's very minor, is that 2 of the 5 wires seem a bit difficult to separate. The plastic latch is offset from the rubber button so far that you have to push really hard to disconnect the cable. It doesn't matter much considering I've had 3 perfect ones and those 2 weren't impossible, just a little uncomfortable. Overall they do exactly what I need and I am very happy with them.
