ImmersionRC Vortex 150

I took it at a decent price. The stock engine was supposed to be on a much smaller and lighter quad. Upgraded to Nova 1804 3500kV and now it's moving.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • For pensioners

Get it well it's under $200

This is a great drone with a good screen size. Best of all, it looks great and is the perfect drone for beginners as your skills improve, it can fly smoothly and controllably. You will have more confidence in your abilities and they fly all the time i like it i had to buy another price was just new for hobby ready to use from inductrix or torrent 110 thats it

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • flimsy

This is a tank. of vehicles

This is a tank and can be beaten. Will this be my first quad without knowing Betaflight? May be. Will this be my 7th ATV to know Betaflight? no There are many others - butterfly etc., it works in its own way. You configure it via the OSD menu. It's simple and convenient, but this is my first ImmersionRC quad and I don't bother with it at all. It's very heavy and my engines die when I haphazardly hit the gas pedal while freestyling. I would check something else.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Disappear

Attention buyers Vortex 150

On my first flight I flew the Vortex 150 for about 4 minutes. I landed on the ATV and noticed a burning smell coming from the ATV. I felt the motors and noticed motor 2 was very hot. I let the motors cool and then tried turning the motors on and running, but motor 2 wouldn't spin. I then returned it and ordered another Vortex 150 and after 3 flights the quadcopter would not turn on even though I could see the OSD. The quality control does not match that of other Immersion RC products.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Annoys

Awesome mid-size mini quadcopter ready to fly

I have flown many quads from the DJI Phantom to the Mavic and have started riding quads. A nearly indestructible EMAX Babyhawk or one of the many other micro quads under 100mm is a great introduction to acro flying. When I was ready to go bigger I settled on the Vortex 150 and enjoyed every flight because it's a definite step up in performance but is still small enough to fly in tight spaces. Pros: Flies great out of the box. Add a satellite receiver and get started (plug and play with dsmx…

Pros
  • Qualified
Cons
  • Some nuances

Great entry-level quadcopter

I have several Micro quadcopters and Mavic Pro, but this is my first mini quadcopter. Along with this quad I bought a FrSky XSR receiver and some Tattu 850mah 4S. I had no trouble installing the RCVR and all I had to do was tape the props on. In total it took about 45 minutes. Shortly thereafter I was in the air. As you can see, I don't have any other mini devices to compare, but here's my opinion from a beginner's perspective: Pro's: CostSimplicityOSD programming (no PC connection required)…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
