Not 501st Approved. The buckle is too rounded at the corners and the code disk doesn't fit at all. I bought it with a black officer's cap. The only useful part was the hat code disc. Everything else was a waste of money. After that has been said. The finish of the buckle is very nice. And a cheap leather belt. But nicely done. If you buy for the 501st approval, don't waste your money, use it for general cosplay or Halloween. Perfect

For cosplay this is a good belt, the code disc is loose but won't pop out. If you're looking for 501 requests, this won't work. Please note so as not to discredit this seller, the 501st has very high standards, everything about this belt is great!

Bought for my Star Wars 1/6/13 Imperial Officer Cosplay. never mind; good for a medium suit. This is not an accurate reading of the screen: the width of the belt is fine, but the buckle is too big, the corners are too rounded, and there is no rivet attached 2 inches from the buckle on the side of the buckle. The 501st assertion fails. But if you just want a cosplay belt it's a good value - won't break your wallet.Shipping gives you two options from the seller: slower or slower so be patient…

The only problem with the belt is the buckle. It's too big, but that's fine for most people who don't worry about buckle size.

Very nice finish. I ended up having to make a new hole (4+ inches) and add velcro to make it tuck in nicely. The average size was too big for me (waist 31 inches). for your information. It is very nicely made and looks like it will hold up well.
