The dynimic duo :) in my review

Super nice deal. They scribe nicely in Stainless and carbon steel! One in my pocket and another on the work table lolCan not beat the price. Not sure what kind of unobtanium this will not scribe on. I use my pocket one to cut and shape my miniature contraptions and I love it. You can grind any shape on the tips to carve small. 😍

Pros
  • Exactly as described. I use it to scribe layout marks on steel.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may wear down unevenly, causing inconsistent marking

Works as advertised.

I immediately used one of these to relabel my 1 teaspoon measure (the original label had rubbed off). My daughter plans to use one to label her tools. No idea how they will hold up over the long haul, but they work beautifully inthe short. The magnet on the opposite end is quite powerful.

Pros
  • ❤️Sales Now: Limited time offer!★The glass scribe features a durable tungsten carbide tip, aluminium body making it works effortlessly on hard materials including hardened steel, stainless steel, ceramics and glass. One-time briquetting tungsten carbide tip is more durable than others, not easy to drop.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may not work well on materials with a glossy or polished surface

Great scribe and well made.

Carbide tip works well and has done a fair amount of scribing with no sign of wear. I have two which is good I always seem to lose one. Great scribe!

Pros
  • ‎Knurled
Cons
  • The pen may not work well on wet or damp surfaces

I like this scribe good for me

I'm going to school to be a machinist. I like this scribe. It seems to etch alright for putting my name on tools that are not hardened steel. I've tried using it to mark my workpiece but it's not easy to see. I'm sure that I'm missing something. I like that the point locks in and is reversible to avoid it going inside me. That being said, I carry it inside my sleeve pocket to avoid it in my chest.

Pros
  • Like the extra tips
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may be too sharp and dangerous if handled carelessly

It's Solid - Strongly Recommend

I have been using other things for marking the aluminum parts I machine at home. These markers are solid. The only thing I kind of find annoying at times is when the magnetic upper end grabs on something nearby. But that can be gotten used to and dealt with.

Pros
  • Item arrived ahead of schedule, was exactly as described, and good quality. Very satisfied.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may leave behind residue on some materials

I used these to develop my engraver for the ScanNCut

Use these, they are what I use in my video. They work like I show in that video if you follow it to the letter, very well. They are an amazing little tool that allows us the ability to engrave with the ScanNCut, as I tested this for a full year before releasing this to video, and to the general public, as your safety with your machine is KEY with me 😉 For those with questions, you can always find me on Facebook by searching for SCASH and the lady that's been helping, for free, and with…

Pros
  • ★Each package comes with 6 carbide scribe for years of use. The engraver pen through the CE, SGS, ROHs, PAHS certification. Warranty: 1 year 100% satisfied quality guarantee.
Cons
  • The clip may scratch or damage painted or treated surfaces

Very sharp. The magnet I dont like. Durable.

The tips are very sharp and stay Sharp until you break it. Breaking requires alot of pressure tho. I use for metal fabrication. 2 pack is great. Extra tips great. The magnet on the top is not usable around steel. Grind dust build up. Also sometimes end up sticking straight up. Dangerous. Take the magnet off of the product.

Pros
  • Product is as advertised, works as it should and was well-priced.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may become stripped or damaged if overused

Good value priced scribers

5 stars for the price. Not the best quality tools, but not bad either. Inexpensive and comes with replacement tips, I really like that. Works great. I don't care for the magnet, took some heavy-duty side cutters and popped them out and then filed off the rough edges. I use them to scribe my initials on my tools, scribe the name of electronics on the wall-warts/power supplies that go to them, etc. Just reverse the tip in the holder to protect it when not in use. I use scribers often and I am…

Pros
  • The IMT 6 Pack Tungsten Carbide Tip Scriber delivers precise results with its sharp and durable carbide tip, making it the ideal tool for intricate etching and engraving work on glass, ceramics, and metal sheets
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may produce excessive heat when used continuously

Flawed tip design: my feedback

I loved the concept of being able to have a retractable tip for safety. However, I found that the tip falls out easily and can be lost. Any suggestions for keeping the tip in place when not being used would be appreciated

Pros
  • Idk why it took me so long to start using these instead of a carpenters pencil.
Cons
  • The pen may not have enough ink flow for some users' preference

Works well.: my feedback

The scribe works very well and I got it in just two days. Another plus was the fact that I got one for my husband and one for myself!

Pros
  • Works super well, and I'm able to pretty much scribe into anything with this
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may break if dropped or misused

No seriously though, these things are monstrous. The metal tip has this mean feeling to it, like it could take on, punch through, and deeply DEEPLY scribe upon any metal. Maybe only diamond is harder.

Pros
  • Me agrado mucho
Cons
  • The pen may be too heavy for some users

Bought for work best in my review

Works for what I use it for. My first tip broke on a piece of aluminum but the second tip is awesome! The magnet on the back end can get annoying when you have metal all around you and the pen keeps pulling away like some damn ghost is playing keep away. Other than that, a good buy

Pros
  • Tip falls out often
Cons
  • The pen may be difficult to clean, particularly if ink dries on the tip

The Perfect Scribe good for me

The tungsten carbide tip on these are great. I have put one away and been consistently using only one scribe to mark my sheet metal. I have marked around 150 feet of sheep metal with only one scribe so far and it is still just as sharp as when I started. These are great quality. And the magnet on the end is very useful to keep from rolling off the work table.

Pros
  • ‎0.97 Millimeters
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may produce a scraping sound that could be unpleasant for some users

Works as it should for my opinion

2 scribes, with replacement tips! I'm pretty sure I'll never even need to replace the tip as it seems that it will last me forever. Comfortable in the hand, and the magnetic end is nice.

Pros
  • Does scribe into my glads projects, tip leaves only a faint signature, but is visible.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may cause chipping or cracking on delicate materials

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Precise, very fine tip

Def the finest tip scraper out there. In my opinion way better than other offerings, plus you get 2 of them. (and the extra tips for centerline scribing (; )

Pros
  • No need to pay a lot more for this type of tool.
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may snap under excessive pressure

No cap but they work great

I use these consistently! On everything from fiberglass to steel. I wish these had an actual cap or retractable tip. Been poked in the chest many times. My shirts have a few holes now too.

Pros
  • I’ve been using this for scrimshaw, and it’s working great!
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide tip may become dull over time, diminishing its effectiveness

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall great! best in my review

Great for drypoint printmaking on glass, very accurate, however I would prefer if it had something to grip because the Textured metal where you grab onto is a bit rough to handle for long periods of time. Really good quality and the extra refills make this product very durable and lasting.

Pros
  • Bueno
Cons
  • The pen may not work well on frozen or extremely cold surfaces

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good tool, but forget the pocket clip

Quality little tool. Holds the tips tight. Has an extremely fine point for precise layout. The extra points means you won't need replacement for a long time. I do not recommend using the pocket clip. The points are wicked sharp which I like, but without a cover you are likely to get holes in your pockets and maybe in your skin.

Pros
  • Like
Cons
  • The clip may come loose if not attached properly, risking loss of the pen
