Plug and Play - works great

Worked well. I was able to insert a data disc and it was recognized immediately and worked perfectly. Copying data was very fast, around 180MB/s, slightly less when copying between two drives, but still very fast. The lights are very informative and the colored lights around the base are a nice touch.

When the old dock began to fail.

My old reliable dock (different brand) started to fail. Having used both this brand and Inateck products I looked at both brands for replacements. The reviews for this product have been very good and in my experience these awards are well deserved: so far it has worked great. The speed seems good and it's definitely more colorful than its predecessor.

GOOD DEVICE. BUT the problem with cloning!

It does what it promises. Works well and quickly as a docking station. Cloning works fine, but make sure the drives are exactly the same, brand, type, size (etc.). My larger hard drive is cloned to the same size as the smaller hard drive. Which tells me that the device doesn't compensate for the difference in disk size. Careful partitioning of the target drive before cloning can fix this. We will see.

Worked on Nvidia Shield. Saved!

Works like a charm! My 2017 Nvidia Shield Pro was acting strange and slow, so after some research I decided to try this Inateck cloner. I was afraid of ruining my Nvidia Shield's hard drive, but it was almost over. I followed the procedure to put a 500GB Shields drive in slot A and a 500GB Samsung SSD that I bought as a spare in slot B. First try to hold down the clone button until 3 LEDs flash, then press the clone button again to start cloning. It didn't work, but on the second try I heardโ€ฆ

Offline cloning doesn't work

THIS ITEM DESTROYED MY HARD DISK DO NOT BUY! I got this device specifically for cloning my hard drive from my computer to my new laptop's hard drive. Both are 500GB hard drives and all the specs are pretty much the same. After 3 separate attempts, this clone dock got stuck at 50% and stopped working. It worked for me for more than 24 hours, then it stopped working. Tried another hard drive, same problem. When I decided to put the hard drive back into the computer, it turned out to be invincible
