Decided to give myself a more expensive but more durable thread trimmer and treat myself. I'm glad I did - this thing feels and works great! I liked that it was made in the USA.

I expected the ends to be sharp. I make cut outs for bags. They're just not as sharp as in the picture. I had to enlarge the picture. They work great. Just wanted pointed.

I don't know why these things smell so bad, but it's really awful. And it's hard to get the smell off your hands to get rid of after you use them.I've tried wiping them down with alcohol wipes several times but the smell won't go away.

I should have had a pair like this a long time ago. They take a bit of getting used to if you're used to regular scissors simply because you hold them differently. You get the thinnest threads, so you don't have to cut the threads twice. I love it.

I bought nipples from Gold Seal and they made them, Gingher and some disposable forceps with plastic handles. These are the best so far. I sometimes think it's just luck when you get an exceptionally good pair. I love professional pliers and hate disposable pliers. They were ground perfectly and cut very smoothly along the entire length of the blades. You simply cut every time with little to no effort. Superb Nips are very happy with this purchase. I assume they will last a very long time.
