Sticks well to freezer and fridge containers

Sticks well to freezer and fridge containers. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 is that when using a regular pen, the ink smudges when you try to write on the container. Superfine markers work best because they don't smudge.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • write later

Not easy to write on

I ordered these because the writing doesn't take up as much space as the ones I ordered previously. I haven't used them enough to know how well they stick or come off. I had a problem that the coating is slippery and difficult to write on. The pen barely held, and the marker spread out on a wet spot. I probably won't order them again.

Pros
  • Still satisfied
Cons
  • No instructions

They're... definitely sticky

Pretty and easy to write on. But they don't come off easily. Lay them on some Tupperware. Bf casually put them in the dishwasher with a sticker attached and they did NOT come off. That's cool. For some people/purposes. But I guess I was looking for something more removable. You can still see the remains of several trips in the dishwasher. I tried just peeling off some others and it was difficult. So. I don't know. They're really sticky.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not bad

If you want to be able to remove them easily, don't buy!

If you want them to be easy to remove, don't buy! I was so excited when I bought them as they should be easy to remove. I like to date and name what I put in the freezer. Well after a few weeks in the freezer I took out the container (with the plastic lid) and when I tried to remove the label it wouldn't budge. I had to douse it with very hot water and still can't get the sticky part off. I am so disappointed!

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Only Available in Black

Holds TOO well - kitchen and dining room

At first I was very happy with the very large writing surface. Most labels have plenty of space for the date but very little space to describe what's inside the container. I simply wrote on the label with an ultra-fine Sharpie marker. However, when it came time to take the tag off, it tore into a few small pieces. Now I have to scrape it off with a spoon and use glue remover. Big FAIL on my book, I'm sending the labels back now. The hunt for a decent food label continues.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • updates available

They don't come loose once frozen!

I bought these food container labels that fit in the freezer. Unfortunately, as these labels go in and out of the freezer, they don't come off my food storage containers! I have no choice but to use Goo Goo or some other product to remove sticky residue from containers. If I don't put the containers in the freezer, they come off just fine. Once they come into contact with moisture, forget it. If you're looking for labels that tear off easily after being placed in the freezer, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Weight

  • Some small things
