No COLOR hair care for hair care

Indigo just doesn't work. The package date stamped on the package I received was about a year ago. Indigo loses its color over time and I find it insane that I was sold something that has expired. I've used Indigo before, so it's not like I'm unfamiliar with it. Maybe if the company packages its powder in a vacuum? It wouldn't be costly and the company would have a product to stand for. I left the color on my hair for more than FOUR HOURS. There is no color at all. Please pack and ship fresh…

Henna and indigo on henna

I used both indigo powder and pure henna, the quality is excellent! The powder is very fine and mixes well. I use indigo and henna together to get a nice dark brown color and apply it about once a month. The gray coverage is 100% and takes care of the hair very well. My blending method works best for conditioning. I mix henna in water + some apple cider vinegar + a teaspoon of coconut oil + a tablespoon or two of yogurt. I leave it on for a few hours (or overnight) and then add indigo mixed…

Very nice, I add it to my henna care and it makes my hair dark brown with a hint of red wood , and not blush when using only henna. My hair is naturally light brown. A lot of gray hair has appeared lately, and the combination of henna with indigo paints over gray hair very well. Especially after the second treatment. I use about 100g of henna and 50-60g of indigo and use it about every 3 weeks. Needless to say, this natural remedy keeps my hair really healthy and shiny - I get lots of…

Works great, gives a rich black that covers some.

Works great gives a rich black covering some of the gray hair I had. A few things to know: Indigo powder works best on hair that has been previously dyed with henna, which allows the indigo to bind the henna. I applied indigo powder 2 days after applying henna (also from the henna guys). Also apply indigo powder immediately after mixing. The first time I waited 15 minutes as some recipes say and this color didn't take very well. The dye has already come out and oxidized. The second (and lucky)…

The best kept secret on the internet my hair went black without causing ANY allergic reaction. Chemicals like PPD and PTD were in the same box with every hair color in every place I could find in any store. I've even tried henna products, herbal products, whatever. Nothing came close to doing what turned my gray hair black. Steps: 1) Use henna from an Indian store, put it in a container, mix some apple cider vinegar with it, maybe 1 part vinegar to 7 parts water. , mix it with henna until it…

Good indigo for your hair!

This is the only brand of indigo I have tried that has worked for me. If you use it on hair, be sure to apply it after you've already done the henna coloring process, or mix it with henna that has already released the color. I did it both ways. Applied after the henna process, it gives a pitch black color. Mixed with henna gives a rich brown color. My natural color is dark brown with about 10% grey. I get great gray coverage with indigo and henna. My hair has gotten much healthier and longer…

Freedom from orange henna!

I've always hated the orange color henna leaves on gray hair. The harmful effects of chemical dyes in the long term were also known. Finally, this product worked like a miracle. On henna dyed hair (shown in the last 3 photos) I applied powder soaked in indigo the next day. Leave on for 3 hours and then wash with shampoo. Now I get a fairly dark black color (first 3 photos) with no trace of brown or orange roots. Although spending 3 hours on henna and 3 hours on indigo for two days is tedious…

This is the worst I've ever received

I'm not sure what's up but in all the years I've bought Indigo this is the worst what I ever got. The instructions say to add "freshly brewed coffee". I've never had to add coffee to my Indigo. But since it was in the instructions, I did it that way. And the color came out a faded brown/black. Not pitch black like I usually get with indigo. I am very frustrated as it takes me almost a whole day to get my hair done as I do a two step process with henna. And I leave out indigo at night, so I…
