I have a 2014 MacBook Air and I love it. I needed more disk space. Ordered, installed and ready to use in a few days. I didn't need an adapter. I managed to upgrade to Big Sur and it works great. I can also upgrade the RAM to 8GB. Although I may have to ask someone to. Otherwise it's worth buying.

I couldn't get the 512GB INDMEM block to be recognized in a 2013 Macbook Air. Even after upgrading the Macbook to Catalina on a 128GB SSD and replacing INDMEM with a 512GB Macbook, it behaved like nothing was installed. I was ready to return the device. Great drive, easy to install (at least compared to previous Apple updates). Added as a second drive to the Mac Mini in late 2014. The hardest part is finding the right tools, cables, and equipment. Late 2014 Minis require cable 821-00010-A - other Minis use something else. The cable and tool set I found worked well, but was missing a tiny screw to hold the drive in place, as well as a clamp and two screws to hold the cable connector in place. Very happy with this new SSD for my daughter's MacBook Air! We have the Base 128 God's Blessed Disk but she had to remove something from it. Having 256GB is great!
