Works well and does the job

Replaced a 128GB drive on an Acer S7 laptop. This is a perennial laptop with an Intel i5 processor. Installation and setup were relatively easy. I set up and formatted a new drive instead of cloning the old one. Two partitions created, C for Windows and D for data. I didn't notice any difference in speed compared to the original drive. One month of use, everything fine.

  • Feels good
Cons
  • Reliability

Defective NEW or USED

I bought an INDMEM 512GB mSATA to upgrade (clone) a 128GB mSATA with CASPER 11. I installed it in the second internal mSATA slot. CASPER 11 launched, which crashed very quickly due to unspecified bugs. This mSATA unit was either NEW but defective, or used but excessively worn. Came back for a refund and bought a 512GB mSATA LEVEN unit. Installed in the second mSATA connector and cloned without error.

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • No instructions

Absolutely worth the money. Very fast SSD

definitely worth the money spent. Twenty dollars for 64 gigs. Especially since I already had an adapter lying around that I wanted to use for a Raspberry Pi project. I'm not entirely sure if it's either my adapter, it seems locked to 75 megabytes per second, but then again I think maybe it's just my adapter or something. I also noticed that this is not the case with Crystaldiskinfo. It seems that the temperature is not displayed correctly at all, so it's strange, but on arrival I noticed thatโ€ฆ

Works great in the mSATA slot in my Dell E5540

I'm not sure if this would work but I'm happy to report that it works in my Dell E5540 51mm x 30mm mSATA Slot that had nothing before worked great. I now have 2 drives, dual boot, I use that as my main operating system and the former hard drive mostly as backup storage. Win10 Pro installed from a bootable USB stick created with the Microsoft.com media creation tool. Very satisfied. Why isn't there a screw? Pulled out one of the hard drive screws but seriously can't put a screw in it? We've been

Works where my Samsung won't

I bought a Qotom "industrial" i5 mini pc to use as a home router with no RAM or floppy drive and was thinking of the 256 Samsung To use MSATA which I had, without any reason. . But after installing the router's operating system, the hard drive lamp was on almost constantly and worked extremely sluggishly. Not wanting to blame the PC (although my drive is fine - I tested it on a computer with Windows installed) I bought this drive. Installed, works very well. The speed is okay, SMART runsโ€ฆ

The drive works fine but doesn't support TRIM

Well that's pretty weird. Some time ago I bought two RECADATA mSATA 64 GB drives here. These drives share the exact same circuit board and chipset as the INDMEM drive I'm talking about here. Older RECADATA drives offer 64 GB of storage space with a single 29F64 flash chip (64 GB), while the INDMEM drive uses two 29F32 chips (32 GB each = 64 GB). Although the two brands are identical except for the memory chip layout (1 x 64GB vs 2 x 32GB), the INDMEM drive does not support TRIM while theโ€ฆ
