I have attached step by step pictures hoping to help you. We have a very long experience and my husband is very handy, but it took 2 hours to connect and install. Requires 2 people.

The light is beautiful and I love it but the instructions were TERRIBLE and it was VERY difficult to hide the wires over the wood. He gives you a bag full of parts and wires with very vague instructions. Grateful, my husband is a very practical guy.

Instructions incomplete, in layout (step 7 over step 1) and incomplete. Plus, it looks better than I expected from this style and price point. The installation is no joke and took longer than my lunch hour could afford.

All connection steps are missing here. We had to call an electrician we knew who told us that the wires have two sides, ribbed and plain, and they represent plus and minus. Hope the fire doesn't burn. We literally had to do the wiring!

I love the light and think it's beautiful, but I warn you it will take hours to assemble. It generally took me two hours to assemble and then my husband had to come and help for another hour to assemble and then hang. It was a total of three hours and we're no strangers to pendant lights. If you've never hung a light fixture before, this isn't the best place to start. Directions won't help you. You are a joke.

Very nice piece but I definitely wouldn't buy it again. I'm a mechanic by trade and that's the only reason I was able to install this easily and make it look good. Stay away from this piece if you don't have the will, experience and patience. Like I said, I wouldn't buy it again. It took me several hours to install, although it should be a simple matter. It's been about a month and if you couldn't tell you're still annoyed at how long it took to install.

I bought this light fixture to put in our new dining room in our farmhouse and it looks nice in the picture, it's a little smaller than I thought the tree isn't that big and stocky and there's no clear guide on how to put four wires through a ball and come out with one wire at the other end of the ball, so we put all the wires in a box and hid the caps on one of the joists and just put one wire through a ball. The rest are quite happy.

Spectacular. but the guide is only good for telling how the wood pieces fit together, anything else is useless. Take your time, lay out all the pieces and see how they fit together, leaving enough slack in the wiring for the light to hang. The length of cable they supply to connect the lights to the ceiling is only enough for one pass. I still haven't installed it because the instructions are useless and don't give you anything on how to put the wires of each lightbulb together in a bundle, what's worse I have no idea how to that does do it with any presentation aesthetic. Looking at the picture of the item I wasn't sure how they would ship the outer glass balls(?) but they arrived safe and sound.
