Many people think that the ID is what is shown and that is not a fact. If you want the true ID of the tube feeding the chest plate, you'll have to look elsewhere for the full connector.

Big stores wanted about 50% more for a quarter turn valve. So when I bought from Revain I got a quarter turn valve for the price of the regular type. After installation, there is no leakage and the flow is excellent. I removed the teflon tape the builder was using and used lube on the male threads instead. I read somewhere about dope on metal, tape if one or more joints are plastic, has worked for me so far! Recommend if you need to replace another bib I will buy another one of these.
