Must be a joke. These are not water erasable textile pens. These are regular pens. Even after holding it under water and trying to wipe it, there is no difference in ink levels. I'm not sure what all the positive reviews are about but I'll tell you it's a scam.

I recently drew a grid on my Aida for the first time. It was so easy to create a grid with these markers. The thin line they make is a plus for me. I made a net on a small piece of Aida fabric, left it for a couple of hours, and then washed it with plain water. Rinses off wonderfully, leaves no residue. I will use these markers.

The point strength of these pens is ideal for all types of fabric marking including grid marking in cross stitch, quilting and confection. It takes a little more water and effort to remove the ink than some water-soluble pens, but the pens are definitely worth it! I am ordering more sets as gifts for friends, stickers and cross stitchers!

After receiving these fabric markers I made a fabric swatch (100% cotton Aida) with all the colors on it. I let it dry for 48 hours. I then dunked it in a bowl of cold water with 3 drops of dish soap. All marks disappeared within an hour without shaking/scratching. The time required to attach the mesh to the fabric is minimal compared to the time lost counting and storytelling, not to mention the eye fatigue.
