Assembling this swing wasn't difficult, but the instructions don't mention some of the parts included. We had to use the photos on Revain to see where things are going. Also remember that you need to tie a knot on each rope to make the ropes swing, and you need to know (or google how) how to tie a secure knot! The material is good but there are NO straps to fasten it. But the package included a small pillow for the back.

The swing is bright and cheerful. I chose it over the plastics because I thought it would be "more breathable" in such hot weather. It was fairly easy to put together but my husband didn't use knots to hold it together. He used the metal clamps he had. He felt it was safer and easier to retaliate. I wasn't sure if beads or rings would do anything but our 18 month old loves to play with it. It's smaller, it has room to grow with the swing. The only drawback is the pillow. I love that it can be hung anywhere. The rope that holds it all together is adjustable and can be made longer or shorter as needed. Threaded clips connect to hooks for more permanent placement, while still being easy enough to remove. The inside of the swing is a soft cushion that sits in the harness to keep the child in the swing.
