I have been using a Conair hair dryer for over 20 years. I look forward to every new update. I am a woman of color with naturally long thick hair, I have 2 daughters with long hair and very long curly hair. I got this hair dryer as a birthday present. They last about 3/5 years, my only problem is that it's very difficult to find a fixation.

Conair have outdone themselves with this hair dryer. I have thick, wavy African American hair and the blow dryer brush slipped through without snagging or tearing. I bought this dryer to replace a similar hair dryer I bought from Sally's Beauty (Gold & Hot). This dryer works very well. Dries pretty quickly. I've tried all attachments; They are fixed and stay in place. I didn't have any breakouts when drying my hair, which was common with my old hair dryer. Not only that, the comb attachment is thicker and more durable than my previous one, whose teeth broke almost every time I used it. So happy with this dryer, will buy again if I need to replace one. This dryer is so much better than the original it's not even a comparison. Good for them (and for me) to upgrade. It's cooler for several reasons: the comb attachments do NOT come off very easily, even if you overdo it, say a tangle you missed, it stays secure. This is by far the best feature here, the lock feature. I think it's "the one"! I've always used some versions of this thing because I like the ease of drying when the brush/comb is attached to the dryer. The last few I've had were non-professional versions that I bought at the grocery store for maybe half the price of this one.
