As I unbuttoned my scarf and tucked it in, I was surprised that this type of material is so soft. Most of my stuff made from the same material is not that soft. The hat fits my head perfectly. The scarf is nice and thick so that you completely cover your neck area. I look forward to cold weather trying them out but I'm sure they will keep me warm.

I bought this in dark gray for my mum for Christmas. I liked it so much I went back and bought a set in black! Both packages I received were of high quality and met my expectations. There is a warehouse smell when you open the package, but everything is fine after washing. As it's knitted, I wash it in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle to avoid damage and then machine wash it on low. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cute hat and scarf combo.

Scarf and hat are soft, warm and comfortable. The scarf was much larger than I expected compared to the photos. To get close to the size shown, you have to wear it twice around your neck - and it still looks a lot bigger than in the pictures. But it's convenient. They didn't have a very pleasant factory smell, but I still firmly believe that everything I buy needs to be washed first, so the smell doesn't really bother me. Just don't expect to wear it until then.

The cap is taller than it is wide, for your information. It will fit a medium sized head or stretch to fit a large head IMO. "Yarn" is average - for convenience - not prickly, but, of course, not a luxury - not accidental theft - something like average branded socks, but knitted. And the neck piece can be double fastened as others have said so that's good, overall looks like it, at $13-14 it's a good buy. I could take off the double pair label myself because it's a little tasteless, wish it was
