Very pleasant, clear sound with rich bass. I installed them on the sail board in the back seat of my son's 1989 Iroc Z Camaro. They fit easily. I made a good choice here. Too bad the Iroc fairings hide the grilles because they look very sharp. They are powered by a 100 watt Rockford Fosgate amplifier. Your construction is top notch.

Bought these for our Mitsubishi Delica SpaceGear Van which has limited depth in the back where they fit. Depth was ok but the basket did get in the way of the internal metal of the body - nothing could be fixed with mild conviction. It sounded great in this app, way better than the crumbling stocks.

These are excellent speakers for the money, but like many Infinity speakers they are quite bright. Also, in my case, there was about a daily break-in period when they were almost overwhelmingly bright and punchy. They took root quickly and I'm happy with them. Note that these guys' bass response is strictly mid-range. This is not a cheap bass replacement. I can actually only recommend them if you are planning to also install a subwoofer or other loudspeakers with a good bass response.

Bill Bixby was right. In the delivery state, they appear very bright and the bass is strictly average. It suits me perfectly. I have now taken them to work to break them in and see if they settle down a bit. What really struck me was the clarity. These things are crystal clear and just what I need. I installed these Infinity PR9603IS 6 x 9 speakers in the front doors of my 2013 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab (not JBL). They sound good, like the Infinity speakers I used to have at home and the 6.5 inch Infinity speakers I have in my other car. Embedded in a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with a factory REN head unit and NO amplifier. Which I thought was a bargain here at Revain compared to other reputable sellers. Do not use the supplied gasket in Ram as your door panel will not fit. If your speaker doesn't fit flat, use a grinder. The door mount cavity is plastic, not metal, so it's easy to undercut a bit.
