Review on πŸ”Š Infinity PR9603IS 6X9 90W Primus Series Coaxial Speaker: Enhanced with Edge-Driven Textile Tweeter for Superior Sound Quality by Troy Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Real Winner: Coaxial Speakers

Embedded in a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with a factory REN head unit and NO amplifier. Which I thought was a bargain here at Revain compared to other reputable sellers. Do not use the supplied gasket in Ram as your door panel will not fit. If your speaker doesn't fit flat, use a grinder. The door mount cavity is plastic, not metal, so it's easy to undercut a bit. After about an hour they started to open up and show their true range. I usually give speakers about 20 hours to test them before commenting. My personal advice is to use silicone between the speaker frame and the panel. Trust me it will kill every possible jump. I usually buy Polk Audio and JBL, I was trying to save a few extra bucks and all the retailers that sell them had a 5/4. star ratings. Not replacing a head and not adding a subwoofer decided to try this [Harmon group like JBL], very satisfied, dramatic improvement in range/clarity and sound clarity. lots of power from the bearing head to operate them. the other 4 I replaced with [ft door & dash] are great JBL Club series too! With some front and rear balance and alignment to my liking, they have the range I like with the added punch of a good product. There's absolutely no need to install an expensive amplifier, although I'm sure it will sound good with more power in the four door positions plus a subwoofer. The guy just needs to know when to stop! :) No regret. And the wife was delighted when I told her it cost less than $200 to replace all six. Both she and the children have noticed the difference, everyone is happy.
