Ingersoll Rand AVC13A1 Pneumatic Rivets Review

These rivets claim to be heavy-duty but fell apart during installation. The quality of the product was unacceptable for an industrial and scientific application .Based on my observations these rivets were poorly designed and did not meet my expectations..

According to my experience these industrial and scientific rivets were a total letdown. The pros were almost nonexistent - they were easy to use, but that's about it. The cons included the rivets not expanding enough and the stem breaking consistently. I ended up having to use twice as many rivets just to get the job done, making this purchase a huge waste of money..

Some people buy smaller guns for smaller fasteners, I only have one gun and am very happy with it. I've been using it since the 1980s. Vibration affects your body and vibration over time. Rivet gloves are required when changing skins on 737 and larger passenger aircraft. But for temporary use, like eg internal structure repair etc. it's fine. Or an upholstery change on the private jet. I find these damper styles work well for 5/32"-1/4"+. They reduce the feel when Rivets and sometimes overload…
