Description of 🌡️ INKBIRDPLUS INK-IFT04 Laser Thermometer: Accurate Infrared Thermometer with LCD Color Display, Adjustable Emissivity for Cooking, Pizza Oven, Meat, BBQ Grill, Freezer, Industrial Use

💛💛High Accuracy: The Distance to Spot Ratio is 12:1 and the built-in laser helps to position an exact area of the target object. The best distance between the laser temperature measuring gun and the object is 14.17 inches (36 cm). 💛💛Adjustable Emissivity: The adjustable emissivity range of the temp gun is 0.1-1.0, The accuracy is as high as ±2%,which allows adjusting the emissivity according to different materials for the most accurate area measurement. 💛💛Multiple Applications: -26°F~1122°F wide measurement range, Infrared technology support to measure the surface temperature of various objects; Used for BBQ, Cooking, refrigerator, automobiles, etc. 💛💛Convenient Use:Backlit LCD screen, support screen auto-off, MAX / HOLD data function; unit switch °F/°C; Temperature alarm and key tone on/off, Low battery indicator, and 18-second automatic shutdown function (battery included). 💛💛Warning: The infrared thermometer cannot measure the internal temperature of the object. The measured temperature for humans or animals will not be correct Do not irradiate human eyes directly or indirectly with infrared rays at any time.

works fine as long as it fits thermometers

Easy to use. Exactly. I ordered this to measure the temperature in my pizza oven, mainly because my old one only measured up to 788 degrees Fahrenheit. This read the same as the digital thermometers in two different rooms in my house and the same as my old one. For me it works fine.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Affordable and accurate, the best time weapon!

I bought this gun for several purposes but mainly to check the temperature of the leaves of plants and the temperature of my aquarium. To start, I stuck a piece of duct tape to the side of my tank and let it warm up to make sure I was getting accurate readings. It takes a while for the temp gun to find the correct reading, it's not instantaneous but I was amazed to see that it matched my digital thermometer perfectly which reads 80.2 degrees. Similarly, it worked well for leaf temperature…

  • Satisfied so far

I had to do a biperectomy but it works fine.

This device does its job well and is easy to use. Accuracy is +/- 5% compared to thermocouple readings. The only thing I don't like about it is the completely unnecessary and annoying beeper. I was able to open up the case and cut it out, so well done. I used to work with a laboratory infrared microscope with a fixed emissivity of 1.0 at a selected wavelength. It had to be cooled with liquid nitrogen to read at room temperature, so it's amazing to see such a cheap instrument do the same job. To

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Seems to work fine

House is 73 degrees Fahrenheit and shows within 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit; Considering the house doesn't have a constant temperature, I'd say it's dead. I filled a glass with ice water and it reads 34.5 F, which seems reasonable to me. I'm not sure I can recommend this for critical applications, but for general home use where you want to check the temperature of something I'd say it's fine.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Minor details

Good and accurate temperature sensor

I really like this device, it's reliable and has a bright screen. I use it to take the temperature of things in my car's engine bay while I'm working on them so I don't burn myself. Some things can get very hot after just a few minutes of idling! I've tested it with ice water and boiling water (pictured) and it's been within a few tenths of a degree each time, so I'm pretty confident in its accuracy.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Accurate and reliable

You can never go wrong with Inkbird products. If you are looking for an ID, buy it again. They are a great bang for your buck. The third photo is a garage cave. I hooked it up to the Inkbirds temperature controller so it would turn on the heater automatically based on the temperature. I measured the temperature sensor on the controller with an IR sensor and both matched up. You can't tell as it only shows 6 as it "scans" to the camera.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
