Great way to mark frets without drilling for real inlays

Installed on a cigar box guitar (4 strings) and they look very nice. To get them looking right you will need to measure the distance across the fretboard between the frets and the distance from the inside of the fret wire above where you are placing the marker and the inside edge of the fret wire below to get them. Downtown. It's very easy. After you pressed them to your neck, they looked a bit big. To fix this I buffed them with the bottom of a teaspoon. If you look closely, they don't lookโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons

This is expensive for a small sheet of stickers but works very well. I only used the small dots and wish they were available separately for a lower price. Some of my ukuleles don't have fretboard markers on the side of the neck, so I use small dots for that. They are fairly easy to install, although some of them don't have enough glue and won't stick. The ones that stick last a long time. The glue is very soft and leaves no residue when I peel off the sticker. They come in a variety of colorsโ€ฆ

Non-standard dot inlays on the neck and insufficient volume.

Most tips are much larger than standard tip inserts which looks ridiculous. I know they're bigger so they can cover up existing outlets, but that defeats the purpose of using stickers if you already have real ones. The other 7 points included are smaller than standard but not enough to complete the neck. So I had to use scissors to cut some of the large ones to fit the size of the smaller ones, making it impossible to cut a perfect circle and ending up looking like a hack. Also, they hold upโ€ฆ

Fair replacement for the original

I play a Spanish made classical guitar that has no fret markings. After playing guitar for over 50 years, I still need and love fret markers. These decals are a reasonable replacement for the original. I put them under the E6 on the fretboard edge and they stay there for a long time. There are three sizes in the set. I use the medium size. The color of this set is a kind of translucent golden color. They stick to their places and stay in place. When it's time to clean the fretboard, it can beโ€ฆ

They make your Epiphone look like a Gibson

They make your Epiphone look like a Gibson! They are superb and easy to put on and take off. I use them on several Epiphone headphones and place medium sized dots on the bridge at each end of the pins to mimic what I call the Gibson dimple dots, which are always added on either side of the Gibson bridge. These look damn good. They need to be positioned correctly to look correct, but you get extra points in the set in case you misplace one point and need to take it off and put another on. I wipe

Pros
  • Existing dot markings can be covered with stickers

  • High price

What Instrument Accessories I Need

I bought a used Fender Original Jazz Bass from the 1960's. Fantastic bass! BUT. Since it has tone dots (or similar tone dots) on the neck and side dots, it was very difficult for my old eyes to see them. I didn't care about the fretboard points as I rarely look at them while playing. . But I like to refer to these side points. It's awesome. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 is for two reasons. It took me a while to figure out the best way to remove the side dots from the packagingโ€ฆ

A good temporary solution if you're not too picky

I got these for side points to fit on an old Gibson L-4 that I've converted to left handed (saddle and bridge can be restored go to the right if I later sell them, but I don't want to drill holes in the neck for left dots). I also don't play with a strap and use the full neck, so the lack of side points is an issue. I agree with the other reviewer that the BP (black pearl) is actually dark blue, but on side dots you never notice the difference. What you'll notice is that the dots are larger inโ€ฆ
