These are undoubtedly the best! The description is 100% consistent. We were hesitant to buy these because they were so much cheaper than other similar ones, but we ultimately decided to give them a try and we are VERY happy! They are of very good quality. This cartridge (socket) is not switched. It is screwed onto a fully threaded pipe.

December 30, 2018 My review: This 1/8" non-switching tube socket uses incandescent bulbs with a base known as an Edison base, a medium base and an E27 base. As if there weren't enough lamp types to add to the confusion!
