Reasonable price, works well.

Works well. I had no trouble zeroing it, but I use it with a good meter. I wouldn't trust it for loads below 500mA, but it's a quick way to tell if the car you're working on has half an amp of parasitic current or more.

AC/DC Current Sensor

Physically larger than I expected but still small enough to pinch the wires I want to measure current in. but that is the nature of the animal and not specifically this unit. so i didn't do it. Compared its readings (in combination with an Equus 3440 DVM) to a linear current shunt and it was within 1% from 0 to 250A, which is the highest current I've used it with to date. I bought it to test the motor current on my NEV but have found a few other uses.

Works well! Best of multitesters

I would say for the money you are paying for this clip you will get your money's worth. It works well and I had no problems with the measurements. It has a small form factor compared to others, allowing you to get into very tight spaces. If your multimeter has a relative zero function, this is a lot easier than on the pliers themselves. The build quality feels cheap and I wouldn't be surprised if it cracked if dropped. The wires didn't look like they would hold up so I replaced them with…

I needed a block that would read low power consumption.

I needed a device that showed low power consumption. Most of the work I do is industrial repair of highly automated PLC controlled equipment. I need something that can measure the small currents used in digital control circuits in today's devices. I've only used it a few times so far and it works as expected. but. The lower range (10 mV/A) is not zero. The minimum value I can reset it to is 3.1 to 3.6 mV. If you take a reading and subtract 3.3mV zero from the reading, it's accurate. The device…

Just the right size.

I chose this model to replace an old Fluke 600A AC Only Clamp Meter (80i-600A) that was sitting idle. used too much so the low price was a consideration. I had no trouble zeroing on either scale, and "preliminary" testing on the most sensitive scale (10mV/A) with low DC currents showed near perfect correlation with a second instrument fixed to the circuit is connected and measures the current directly. The Innova clamp is slightly smaller than the Fluke clamp it replaced which is actually a…
