Works great for me

I bought my version of this radio (Lifelong brand) from Walgreens for about $20. The benefit of buying from a store is that you can turn it on and make sure the radio you bought is working (AM/FM/weather etc and charging). It comes in a plastic carrying case that gives you access to the knobs, switches and crank - a big plus for me. I never put batteries in mine - I only use them with a handle. I've had mine for years! - Works perfectly! - Love it!

You can't win at this price! I brought mine tonight to test out the MP3 transmitter and so far I've been running it for exactly a minute or so every twenty minutes to recharge the built in battery. Yes, the pen and pretty much everything around it is plastic, but be careful what you do and don't treat it like industrial gear and yours will last a long time. yo too Always ready for any reason you can think of.

All radios that have worked, including mine, require the volume switch to be moved before the volume is…
