Splicing is required to install this product.

I didn't like this product so I sent it back without plugging it in but I didn't like that I had to splice the wires to install it on a truck I thought it was going to a computer outlet connected, but it doesn't.

LOSS OF MONEY AND TIME

Not a real tuner, for 99 cents you can do what this chip promises with stuff from the local hardware store. I recommend spending a few hundred to four hundred on a real JEGZ OR BULL DOG tuner, they also exist for gas ones.

Does as advertised.

Pretty good product, works pretty much as advertised but takes a few cycles for the truck to pick up the unit and start working. You may need to unplug the battery and let the computer turn off the cycle before it picks up the device.

Waste of money, reduced mileage 2mpg

Does not work. Installed on my 2015 GMC Sierra 5.3L V8 and it brought my mileage down and started throwing a Throttle Position Sensor DTC. Easy installation, exactly according to the instructions. Was there two weeks and was 2mpg lower than before. Turned it off and my mileage was back to normal. Unfortunately it was a waste of time and money.

It's not a performance enhancer, it's a PCM grinder. Or hack.

I returned 2 after finding out it just tricked the PCM into believing the engine was running at a higher temperature than it actually did and my fan kept running even when it was a cold fan start, top speed worked all the time. After removing and cleaning the PCM, the fan worked fine. Looks like they only refunded 1. Spend the money and buy a real programmer or go to a good performance store and record your engine's performance and then program the PCM to actually increase your engine'sโ€ฆ
