Worked great, fits like a glove

Perfect match for my Nvidia GTX970. The cables were a bit longer, but can be easily hidden. When the original fans failed, I kept an eye on the graphics card's temperature to avoid overheating. The card fluctuated between 65-75 degrees Celsius (149-167 degrees Fahrenheit). After installing the fans, the temperature fluctuates between 35-45 degrees Celsius. Nvidia mentions that these cards should never go above 80 degrees Celsius, and they're not kidding - I turned on three monitors and all…

Saved old graphics cards!

Great fit, easy installation, quick fix for a pair of old Zotac GTX970s. Extended the life of a graphics workstation that I would rather not replace. Don't be afraid of this repair, it was a very easy replacement. The fan cable/pins were 10mm longer than stock, but that probably makes installation easier - they get out of the way and the fan cover is still clean.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Weak set

Big! Exactly as described.

Recently the Zotac card started overheating. Found one fan not spinning at all and the other had a lot of friction in the spindle. An attempt to disassemble them to replace the bushing was unsuccessful. Fortunately, these fans are perfect. The cables feel longer than the OEM but are easy to hide under the case. If they were too SHORT, that would be a bigger problem. After installation, the card runs again at normal temperatures.

One died on arrival.

After installing new fans, I noticed that one did not work. I thought maybe it was the connector so I replaced the fans but no it was a dead fan. I'll probably go back and buy a different brand if the seller can't ship just one fan.

These fans suck. Best in Internals

I bought these to replace a broken fan on my Zotac GTX 970. I replaced a fan that was bad, this replacement started rattling a bit horribly after installing everything on a few weeks of moderate PC usage. During the replacement, it was apparent that the replacement fan was leaking oil/grease and splattering it all over the card. I replaced it with the second card in the stack, and after just a few weeks, the second fan started fainting. Now I'm looking for a new OEM replacement as these…

OEM replacement for Zotac GTX970

I am very impressed. Pretty much the same as buying the GPU. I've had bad luck with my fans lately. Initially only one fan bearing came loose as I started looking for replacement fans. After scouring the internet I found this replacement and it should be here within a week. So I bought it immediately. Another fan got stuck after the purchase. I tried greasing it and it helped until the fan literally detached from the graphics card. The original fan that came loose and made me buy these fans…

Easiest Fix for Failing Fans

This is the simplest solution to replacing fans, you guessed it, the Zotac 970. Pro Tip: If you fix it while you wait, you might be lucky if you lift the fan housing off the spindle, spray cleaner on rotating parts such as brake cleaner, carburetor cleaner, electrical contact cleaner or air flow sensor cleaner, then lubricate with grease and reassemble. In my experience, this is never a permanent fix, but the good news is that these fans are an exact fit, aside from the excessively long wires…
