Item arrived damaged. The large container is thin and not very well made. The accessories are also flimsy and of poor quality. Not worth the money.

This is a great product for introducing children to bugs and their importance. It also helps reduce fear of them. it's weak You can use more durable plastic and mesh.

Cannot recommend - the door does not close. No safe cage. My 3 year old son moved the cage and the door swung open, his bugs spilled out and I was left with the unfortunate child. Also after 2 days the dome that catches the bugs broke! By no means is this product durable.

Do not recommend this product. We've only had it a few days and so far the only thing my daughter has done with it is run around looking for bugs or small animals to catch. The maze, shovel and net on the cage are all broken and torn. She lost her tweezers, so they haven't broken yet. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

The garden insect cage sold by Jaru is very fragile. The bowl-shaped insect trap fell apart on its hinge before we were even outside. The bug cage supports fell off and the mesh sides detached from the ends in a day. The tongs must be spread apart to grip and will not hold the beetle. The beetle maze opens and does not remain closed. not worth 7€. Not worth $1. Better with bottle and hands.

We used it to hunt fireflies and by the end of the night the door came loose and was no longer pressing against the cage. That night, besides all the mosquito bites, we could only leave 1 or 2 bugs in the cage, the rest escaped through a crack in the door. You should consider making the door a hinged door with a latch to keep it closed, rather than pivoting and friction closing. Don't think I'll get this again.

The cage came with the net torn off the bottom but was easily repaired. The cage door opened too easily every time you moved the cage, so it had to be secured with a screw to keep it from flying open. The animal trap is very good but it requires manual dexterity to operate and the magnifying glass over the spoon shaped base wasn't big enough to hold the insect (ladybug) that kept crawling out. I was looking for something for my nephew who likes to collect bugs. The product comes as is. When we opened the container, we found that the lid did not close properly. The net also had 2 holes and the scissor-like tool you use to catch bugs was broken and couldn't be put back together. I returned the product and received a full refund. If it really wasn't broke I would recommend it. If someone else orders they might get a better product than me. My issue was the quality of the item itself…
